My Story
An aspiring UX Designer, looking to build and design methodologies around the way people interact with digital platforms.

Who I am
Being born and raised in London, I have been exposed to a range of cultures, lifestyles, and environments. These experiences have shaped my curiosity around how people interact with a range of methods to obtain information, and this is where my passion lies. Finding improved ways to help people achieve their goals in the most effective and efficient way is my daily mission.

My journey so far
Growing up in an era where the sharing of information became increasingly technology-driven, I pursued my initial interests in web design through my undergraduate degree in Digital Media at the University of Roehampton. At Roehampton, I was introduced to interaction design, specifically the subjects of wireframing and prototyping, which furthered my desire to develop my skillset in designing functions tailored to individual personalities.
Having the global pandemic impact my undergraduate journey also highlighted the importance of connecting the right information with the right target audience. With this in mind, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in User Experience and Service Design at the University of Loughborough. There, I developed my skills in user research, identifying distinct pain points, and finding high-value opportunities that create impactful user experiences.
Now I am in the process of utilising and enhancing my skillset by volunteering with start-ups and interning within organisations.

My values
From my experiences, I have found a unified focus that aligns with my passion in building a brand through exciting and intuitive digital platforms. And thus, I have discovered three key areas of impact that I bring to UX design:
-
Accessiblity and inclusive design
Every user deserves equal access to digital experiences, regardless of their abilities, age, gender, or background. Some of my closest family members have accessibility concerns, so I know first-hand the challenges they can face.
-
Making design decisions based on research and data
Great design isn’t based on assumptions. Backing ideas with user research and data leads to solutions that address real user needs.
-
Continuously learning every day
Being open to feedback keeps my design thinking up to date and allows me to adapt to new challenges.
